I recently caught up with Stefanie & Jon ahead of their wedding in September and took the opportunity to get a few pre-wedding pics. 

The ever popular Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island was the venue for Michelle & Jon’s wedding at the end of July.  I was recommended to Michelle & Jon by friends of theirs, which is always the very best kind of compliment! The full gallery is available here.

Jessica & Dan tied the knot in the candle-lit St Mary’s Church on the Orchardleigh estate near Frome in Somerset.  In the grounds of Orchardleigh House  the church is on its own island and has no electricity - even the organ has to be pumped by hand!   

Victoria & Rory’s wedding was probably the most relaxed, chilled out wedding that I’ve ever photographed.  They hired a complete complex of holiday cottages in Devon (with views to die for), filled them with their closest friends and family, booked a local church and hey presto - a fantastic day!  If Carling did weddings….. 

I met up with Francesca & Dan at Chewton Glen last month ahead of their wedding there next week.  The ultra-luxurious Chewton Glen (voted best hotel in the British Isles!) makes a perfect wedding venue and I’m really looking forward to being part of their day! 

Louise is my cousin so it was great to be a wedding guest at for a change - well, kind of a guest as I was photographing as well!  Louise & Jan make such a fantastic couple that I knew well in advance of their wedding on Saturday that it would be a very special occasion to be part of and I was particularly honoured that they asked me to be both guest and photographer.  Here’s a taste of the day! 

Charlotte & Martin’s wedding (two week’s ago) was a a little like being on a James Bond film set - all the men were in black tie and a casino entertained guests in the evening!  The wedding ceremony & reception were held at Esseborne Manor near Andover and it was a real pleasure to be part of Charlotte & Martin’s perfect day! Louise & Jan are getting married later this month and I caught up with them a couple of weeks ago to take a peek around their wedding venue and to grab a few pre-wedding shots.  Louise is my favourite cousin (her words!!) so this wedding will be extra special & I’m really looking forward to their big day!

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to shoot Michelle & Garry’s wedding in Southampton.  The ceremony was in the Register Office in the historic heart of the city and the celebrations continued in Totton’s Empire Hall.  Michelle arrived in style in a horse & carriage while a Scottish theme was evident with Garry and many of the men wearing kilts - there was even a piper to ‘pipe’ Michelle down the aisle! St Mary’s Chapel (with its spectacular domed ceiling) on the Lulworth Estate in Dorset made a great setting for Gabrielle & Steven’s wedding ceremony earlier this month.  The celebrations continued at Athelhampton House which with its historic house & beautiful gardens makes a dream venue for any photographer.  The flowers were supplied by the ever brilliant Poundbury Florist.
